Chapter Philanthropy

Tri Sigma’s national philanthropy is the Robbie Page Memorial Foundation. The Foundation helps hundreds of chronically ill children annually by funding therapeutic play. We organize fundraisers for the Robbie Page Memorial Foundation each semester.

In the fall, we have Run for Robbie 5k/1 Mile Walk at the Philadelphia Zoo. All ticket proceeds go to The Foundation and we welcome donations aside from the ticket itself. The Run for Robbie is a fun way to support our philanthropy and enjoy the zoo at the same time.

Each year around Easter time, the sisters of Tri Sigma hosts Bunny Bash for local children to celebrate the holiday. Bunny Bash includes an Easter egg hunt, face painting, crafts, and coloring.  We make “Boo Boo Bunnies” that we donate to children in local hospitals and try to demonstrate the value of the Robbie Page Memorial foundation, “Sigma Serves Children.”

Mr. SJU is our rendition of Miss America, but for men. Tri Sigma organizes a talent show for male students with categories that include SJU trivia and a chosen talent to perform. During the event the sisters have a bake sale, a basket raffle, and perform an opening act before the talent show begins. All ticket and raffle proceeds go to the Robbie Page Memorial Foundation.
